A personal starting point
I’m one developer, and I built Steps to Miles as a tool I could return to whenever I wanted to turn a step count into a useful distance. Making it available to everyone felt like the natural next step.
I care most about accuracy and ease of use. A distance should reflect the step length you actually use, and the controls should be clear enough to work with on a phone. That’s why the app makes room for your own measurements, a short calibration walk and reusable profiles.
All of those features are free. If something is confusing or a calculation seems wrong, I’d like to hear about it at contact@stepstomiles.app.
